4 Teams, 4 Months and 4 Pitches from Betatron, Hong Kong 2017
Betatron is an intense HK startup accelerator program, providing 4 startups with a funding of $30,000 USD to take root and flourish. Finally, after months of refinement, this is their last hurdle – the pitch day. Check out how the Cohort 1 performed during the Demo Day in HK.
The 4 teams are as follows:
- Vmind: Vmind is a queue and reservation management app and online marketplace for services. The app works both ways by providing merchants with a convenient way to manage reservations and communicate with their customers while providing customers with a way to manage their bookings and queues.
- Pakpobox: Founded in 2014 as a 24/7 locker network to connect three stages of the delivery process: merchants, couriers and consumers. They have installed 62 lockers in HK so far and aim to install 500 by 2020.
- OffMenu: Founders Cassie Mak and Shane Cole give members exclusive access to clandestine dishes and drinks at HK’s most popular bars and restaurants.
- Logflows: They have the ambitious goal of connecting the scattered B2B trucking and logistics industry. 36Link offers the shippers, the trucking companies and their drivers an open platform to run their business, find new customers, track the metrics etc.
