100 Registrants Hacking TC TechCrunch in Shenzhen, China 2017

100+ registrants. 10 best teams. 3 tasks. Silicon Valley-modeled Hackathons in TC TechCrunch have been a mainstay for TechCrunch Disrupt since they first started. And each team has only 24 hours to complete product design and development and present their project to the judges. Watch these developers, engineers and UX designers compete in teams of 4-5 for first place!

Notable teams include:

  1. Roadshr: A robot that can give you shopping recommendations, pricing, product location in the store and even accompany you around the mall? Roadshr presents just that with their LoomoMart robot.
  2. Fun Tech: They present a solution that allows everyone to become an investor through investing in individual Mobikes through use of blockchain technology.
  3. Mobike Go: This team invented a smart seat lock that enables a peer-to-peer bike sharing network. With the abundance of cyclical transport in China, this opportunity for riders to monetise their bikes is a cash cow in the waiting.
